The Italian technology Regenera Activa quickly and painlessly awakens dormant hair follicles, leading to the growth of new hair and increasing hair density.

There is no need for hair transplant surgery. A suspension with the patient's own stromal vascular stem cells from hair follicles is used for the treatment.

The donor for producing the suspension is the patient themselves. Three 2.5 mm biopsy punches are taken from the occipital or parotid area under local anesthesia. This eliminates the possibility of biomaterial rejection or an allergic reaction.

Indications

Indications for the Regenera Activa hair restoration are any type of alopecia:

androgenetic alopecia

How does Regenera Activa work?

The first stage of the procedure is the collection of donor material. It is performed under local anesthesia. Three 2.5 mm biopsy punches are taken from the patient’s occipital or parotid area. Then the biomaterial samples are sent for processing with the help of the Regenero device. The device pulverizes the scalp pieces taken to microscopic size within 2 minutes. At the same time, all viable functions of the donor material remain normal. When the biomaterial is mixed with saline in particular proportions, we get a suspension enriched with a large number of stromal vascular stem cells. One dose of the prepared suspension contains about 90,000 cells.

After the preparation is injected into the bald or balding area, it begins to actively affect the vascular scalp environment. The suspension does not contribute to the formation of new follicles, but activates the work of dormant follicles, leading to the growth of new hair and increasing their density and quality.

The whole procedure lasts no more than one hour, with just one procedure sufficient to achieve results. In some cases, it is necessary to repeat the hair restoration via Regenera Activa in 6 months.

Procedure stages

No preparation for the procedure and no rehabilitation afterwards is required. The patient can immediately return to their normal everyday routine.

Consultation with a trichologist.

This allows the specialist to properly assess the problem and exclude the presence of any contraindications.

Skin cleansing and anesthesia.

Before taking the donor material, the doctor disinfects and anesthetizes the scalp in the selected area and marks the puncture points.

Collection of the biomaterial.

Three 2.5 mm biopsy punches (skin pieces) are taken from the occipital or parotid area under local anesthesia. They are then placed in a special cartridge.

Suspension production.

The cartridge with donor cells is placed in a special device, where the suspension is produced within 2 minutes.

Injections into the bald and/or balding area.

Using a fine needle, the doctor makes multiple injections into the area needing treatment.

Final treatment.

The scalp is treated with special soothing products.
